BAD NEWS from Italy | Ossigeno Newsletter 11 November 2018
This edition of the newsletter focuses on the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists (IDEI) whose Italian commemorations where led my Ossigeno per l’Informazione. The conference “Threatened journalists. Attackers unpunished.” was held at the Senate on 22 October 2018 under the patronage of UNESCO and in the framework of the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF). Among the speakers, also representatives from the Government, UNESCO, OSCE, European Commission and Council of Europe. In the framework of IDEI, Ossigeno also organised a conference on threatened journalists in Belgium, France and Italy on 6 November 2018 at the Italian Cultural Centre in Brussels.
